Reality and the Falconer
While out wandering the landscapes Sunday, I chanced upon a scene that slammed the brakes on my personal motion through life. Suddenly I was questioning EVERYTHING I’ve held close to heart, EVERYTHING.
A Falconer at a state park, Gussied up in Blaze orange, hunting license pinned to the back of his jacket, and one VERY LARGE redtailed hawk proudly riding on his Leather armored arm, tresses loosely held in the falconers hand….
How does my reality intersect with this persons reality,,,, we are in different universes!!! May be that we are occupying the same space time, but no, our realities are light years apart. Whats important to me isn’t even a blip on that mans screens.
Yes, I know, he likely worries about what the current Shaministration is doing as much as me, or how the recent ‘upgrades’ to the Tax Code is going to effect his upcoming year,,, BUT HIS LIFE, INTERESTS, THOUGHT PROCESSES,,,,,
We are nothing but brief sparks of exploratory energy, seeking only we know what and usually not even then, and when we pass this mortal coil on to our progeny, THEY get to figure out THEIR purpose and belonging, We are not given an operations manual (some say that the bible is just that, but its an arguable point, one that has been argued for centuries) WE are literally wingin’ it. Sometimes, we hit it, just right, most times, we are that pinball bouncing madly back and forth between two pins waiing for that small amount of entropy to break the current physics loop, sending us careening off on some crazy tangent path.
And seeing that proud bird, riding her current thralls arm, taking notes on all of the little creatures about her, missing nothing,,,, That birds reality is focused like a 15 trillion watt laser,,,,
and right now my reality: focused like cataract covered eyes,,, I’m seeing, and the sensation is only kinda sorta making sense, and likely 180degrees off.

I had several lucid moments during Satyrday nights sleeps,,, I don’t recall any real details, but the gist came down to what I finally woke with: Solid Apathy, Solarfire heated and brine quenched, tooling hard Apathy.
That wasn’t there when I finally made it home from B’s and was laying down exhausted. I had a thought on my brain, but was too tired to start writing, One of actual hope and why I felt that way. I still have the notes for it, but, now, its meaningless in the face of this apathy.
I despise the fact that the fate of billions resides in the Potential sense of duty of some ‘chosen’ few,,, That they are literal sociopaths and narcissists herding this world to ends that are quite a bit less than optimal, all for the sake of this fleeting thing called power, creating their ‘reality’ of thier choosing at the expense of everyone that comes within 5 solar units of thier orbit ( by choice or happenstance) and while their reality is as fleeting as their spark in this realm, the damage it leaves in its wake will send ripples forward through other realities for a much longer time frame. (hell, we are still getting reflective waves from thrice bedamned HITLER!!!!)
Hard truths. They need to be told, feelings be damned, image being worthless without it, appearances being meaningless if whats underneath is vaporous nothings based on untruths and platitudes.
They say we get the rulers we deserve, and if the mental state of this country is any indicator, Biden is exactly what we deserved, even if that election, STILL IN MY OPINION AND NOT SWAYED ANY OTHER WAY TO DATE, was stolen. Look at the mass looting now called ‘organized theft’ that is taking place in certain blue hives. The only thing ‘organized’ about it is the set up: tweets or instagram posts that create Crowd Bursts that overwhelm any and all security measures, then blow away as quickly as they formed. Everything in between is mad chaos. That growing trend, if thats what it is, is another symptom of a compromised system that is fractured and failing at accelerating rates. The lower rungs steal with abandon, and the upper reaches steal everything else, and its the people in the middle, that just wanna be left alone, that pay the price for it all. Prices in peace of mind, our purchasing power, our incomes still being paid in yesteryears monetary units, and our self-esteem being beaten to death by “woke and DIE”,,, We keep taking it, and taking it, and I am sure some of you look at the world around you and wonder how much longer before you just give in, give up or give out.
I really need a day at the Church of the Double Bladed Paddle.,,,, Really REALLY need a full day, no breaks, just keep paddling until bladder pressures force me to shore. Then find a spot and sit. Burn the energy to calm the mind, then let the mind see the soul and start the repair process. Or is that calm the mind so that the soul can do some repairs on it,,,, Dunno, but it needs done,,,, I haven’t had enough of that of late and its starting to show.
I’m developing my own cracks during this shit-show,,,,,and stuff like this just drives the wedges deeper all while the US was distracted by sportsball and Tay-Tay

Stopped in on way home thursday and he was out playing with his bee hives. Seems the bees think we are in for a hella early spring too. And I have a fairly decent J.O.B.,,, not a great one as its sorta dead-end-ish,,, no bennies, no PTE’s, No retirement ops,,, BUT, is close to home and IF I need time off, I can take it at the drop of a hat and still have a job, (just the ‘no work, no pay’ thing,,,) and it has started paying closer to reality for the skill sets that I bring to the table. And its pretty much all there is around here that ain’t fast food or drudge labor deep underground. Won’t do the mines, hell no!!!
