GaRBB@($((###!!!!
Dropped a keeper!!! ARGGGHHHHH!!!! And of course, it hit the tarp and went-a-buhbye!! Probably in EREHWON now,,,
Cheap part, has to order it no matter which route I go, but still cheap ($3/pair so not THAT cheap considering what they are)
OR,,, I can pull a valve cover on Donor truck and pull a pair from her,,, Same part number on all SBC’s/4.3’s as I checked that last night,,,,
STILL,,, GRRRRRR mad at myself,,, I had it in hand and it dropped through the frame to the ground, even heard it hit plastic, but can’t find it for nuthin! (for those unfamiliar, this peice is about the size of a fingernail. TINY!)
On that note,,, Its the exhaust port #5 that I’m working on. only have 5, 7, and 2 remaining. BUT I STOPPED ALL FORWARD MOVEMENT when that thing fell. Not moving until I can put that particular valve back together.
and its back to the mines today,,, Doc runs tomorrow with Da, and likely no movement at all on Bloo in the interim. I kinda want the ground to dry out a bit too. it was getting rather goopy with my movements trying to find that keeper,,, (and that keeper may be encased in that goop now,,, dunno,,,) (note, I did use a rather large magnet as well: found a few nuts and a bolt that had fallen off Buffalo when I worked on her in this location prior, but not that keeper, YET.)
Back at it,,, ’nuff grumbles, keep movin’.
more laters

Yep – the ones off donor will work fine – just give em a serious eyeball to look fer anything outta the ordinary wearwise.
Little bastages are sliker’n owlshit, fer sure! If’n one of em decides to go flyin, it’z unlikely to be stopped – found, maybe, but not stopped.
Anywhoo, keep on keepin on! Best fer Dad, and in yer doc search (Twuck, too😉🙃)!
L’s!
Y’all take care,
Mike in FLA.
