Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

How could one forget

But this’un did,,, IE, Me,, forgot somethin’

How exhausting working in the cold can be.

Did a few hours at the J.O.B. and the temps dropped from lo-fifties to just above that thirty two mark, but there were also lots of high winds,,,, and we were working in aTarped set of Tennis courts, that are open at either end and act as a wind tunnel. It was actually warmer outside of that ‘ginormous carport’ than in. Son of Bossman had gone on other runs, and was returning with a broom to clean up our little messes, and when he came back, “wrap it up, too damned cold.” NOT ONE COMPLAINT even though we all want our hours after this shortened month. Pay only compensates misery so far,,,

But I’m a glutton for punishment. Came home and replaced the exhaust meanie-fold gaseket on the evens side.(replaced odds when I put in new manifold there.) I had a burned plug wire on #6 during all the fun of the last three weeks, and I did replace it, but with some of the exhaust noise, and that burned wire,,, replace the gasket.

Cold or no cold.

Forgot one thing: Castiron shrinks.

furgot anudder: Cold makes ya tire out FAST

and that made getting the manifold back on kind of challenging. Tried most all of my tricks, from a mechanics jack to push apart the lobes, to prying and cursing.

The Prying and cursing thing was what did the trick, but only after I reversed the direction. Stronger on the pull, not the push.

No work in the Aye-em,,, already got the text,,, Whats Dio planning now? Maybe that leaky seal up front. Maybe those exhaust leaks if I can figure a way to get Bloo’s passenger side elevated to an extreme fashion (Keeping safety in mind the whole time. I have no desire to be a Dio Pancake.) My problem with the welding is ‘doing it on my back’ limits what angles I can utilize to weld the uppoer pipejoints. Even on a lift, there were times where getting it 100% wasn’t there, and we would get as close as possible and then fill with some ‘muffler mud’: but you don’t want to use gob-lots of that stuff. It does break up, eventually; the more you use, the sooner ‘eventually’ becomes. Plus,, I haven’t any.

dunno’bout tomorrow,,, may just have a warm day in the house with the kids, keep the fire burning (which is making the house quite toasty currently.) and have another chill-out/relax day.

maybe

I may get bored too.
