Slow, not stoopid
Yesterday, was about as stoopid as I get, and that was only in “shoulda paid attention” to the weather liars.
Today? Well, the wind is slated to be a constant, with a weather system blowing in from the west (out of that seriously kold arctic inversion thing goin’ on) and I have ZERO clue what my J.O.B. entails today (I never do, and sometimes that carries through the entire day. Make it up as I go along.)
So, I busted out the thermos gear. Yes, I have an actual evacuated glass thermos’; its probably as old as I am. Keeps a triple cuppa, hot for HOURS. I have a smaller one, that isn’t evacuated glass but does fine, and that one is loaded up with steak and potato soup. My issue yesterday was keeping the core warm, and why it took so long for the shivers to start and subside later. I had nothing warm to put inside me: Problem alleviated today.
Now, I have had a thought, totally NOT related to yesterdays post, and the more I think about it, the more I believe it needs to become a podcast thing. Key subject points: War on Drugs, Afghanistan, drug boats go boom, Poisoning fishing waters,,,,
I’m gonna leave it there as those are more like notes for me; where I can’t lose them. SO, if I have another day of waiting, no J.O.B. that day and thumbs under ass,,, PODCAST,,, May be something for y’all to look forward to (but don’t go praying for it, I need the income.)

you mean… The other class warfare ? Declare a war on a drug which actually is effective on pain (opioids). Which is largely ignored by competent doctors in the public domain as being safer and actually relieves pain . While the VA system pretty much has quit dispensing them entirely and can’t understand why the suicide rate is out of control… WHY ? BECAUSE A DESPERATE PERSON WILL DO ANYTHING TO FIND RELIEF ! This has led to the rise of one that is easier to smuggle ( fentanyl) and much more deadly than oxycodone !
First off, I could give a rats ass if some idiot kills himself overdosing on any drug. Just to get high !
But for those with long term conditions which cause major pain. Let them decide if the risk is worth the relief.

The VA is a joke these days with pain control. Their hands are tied by the do gooders.
thousands die literally every day, by alcohol abuse and its affects. They have mega lobbyists pouring millions into the coffers of the politicians.
