Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

Ok,, mehbe this,,,,

Government Shutdown damaging air travel

honestly, this is about the only negative I have heard in relation to the Government Shutdown. Understandably, seeing how the ATC is a federal union,,,

Thats the key point in my argument though,,, This should never have been federalized. At the time, it had merit, but should have been worked out in private enterprise fashion, not commandeered by GOV. Far too many aspects of our world are now a part of the BLOB called government.

And most people still insist on calling this a Republic, or Democratic system, and both are wrong. We are a more and more the SOCIALIST Republic that has proven disasterous, time and time again. We still have ‘just enough’ off the old republic still functioning to keep the keel in the water, not in the air,,, Question becoming ‘For how much longer?’

Not to be a doomer, just pointing out that we let ourselves get into this situation by not ACTIVELY defending the restriction of State as defined in the Constitution itself. The current set-up, the one that is ‘shut down’ currently, is a perfect example of ‘Mission Creep’ inherent in any Bureaucracy: the creature that grows like tumors, no brain and a gazzillion legs. Yes, its an apt comparison IMO.

Like the whole “federal judges” flexing muscle over the Executive Branch. The Executive Branch spelled out in finite words within the Constitution, where as the Federal Judicial branch IS NOT,,, How did a purely fictional Bureau suddenly grow MORE power than the one Defined by the words of the founders?

We stopped tarring and feathering the assholes for one. We stopped ‘riding them out of town on split rails’,,,

WE STOPPED BEING THE CONTRARIANS and started lettting ‘others’ do what we should have been doing. WE got police because we couldn’t be bothered to defend the peace of our neighborhoods ourselves. With the Police, the nose was under the tent and now Look at the plethora of Law Enforcement we have: local podunk police forces, all the way up to STATE Troopers with varied names. States have their micro-mirrors of the Federal level stuff, like Bureaus of Investigation, or Intelligence agencies,

Not quite Orwell, but, (especially with our technology dependence these days,) most certainly knockin on the door. And yes, I know groups like Palantir and such, big Silicon Valley types, are getting further into bed with Uncle Sam, to further create our growing Surveillance state.

Feelin’ just a tad ANARCHIST this mornin’,,,,

More laters after I do the wage slave thing, and get some ire boiled down to usable levels.

    A most excellent comparison – gov’t/tumor! A more apt comparison I haven’t seen.

Dammit man! Don’t see a single syllable to disagree with – fact is, looks to me like you were directly communicating with one of my 2 brain cells to me. Maybe even both.😵‍💫 Scary thought, that!

    Y’all take care,

They originally in my mind came under the judicial branch , which somehow got blended into the executive. All part of the good ol boy network.
