Book Review time

I know, I know,,, y’all ain’t into that Buddhist stuff,

Don’t need to be, but I would bet even the most Stoic of y’uns could find a thing or three to take from this little read.

And I would bet there is some younger version of you runnin’bout that could use some insights into traversing this planet/reality. Not advice, but ways to LIVE at peace with yourself, and those around you. Chapters like “Respond, not react” (and how to differentiate the two. )

And its all told in short reads, 5-10 minutes, and the monkey, well, MONKEY,,,, Cute, right? But so much like US,,, Fact, a couple of chapters hit me right between the eyes, and clarified things I have/am struggled/ing with. (like the “respond not react’ chapter,,,, I’m bad for lashing out when shit goes sideways.)

(little note,,, there are some downloadable freebies in the middle of the book. three of them are guided meditations and if that is Serena’s voice in them,,,, Well, easy on the ears is an understatement,,,)

back to the mills tomorrow,,, Looks like that job on the otherside of the state may be in force this week. If so, I will be away from home for a couple three days. I will of course have my gear with me (keyboard, phone, etc) but I’m likely to be sharing a room with one of the other Emps, and that could be ‘challenging’ as I am VERY much the introvert and they are lunatics,,,,Posting may be a little reactionary and my take on the world may be limited by time to take it all in.

But it will work out. I’ve already made arrangments for Cozzie and the kittehs: they ain’t gonna like it (Cozzie especially, He is supposed to go with me when I go away, right? So he thinks anyway,,,,) They’ll be fine,
