Fill in the blanks I left this morn,,,,

Yup,,, Quit.   Torched that bridge to where the Dynamite was hidden, and then blew it to hell-n-back,,,,

and Yuppers, 75% my fault the blow up happened.  I knew the Bossman was in a rough mood, and instead of waiting for Son of Bossman to come out and give me my marching orders, I walked into a shit-fest of fingerpointing/blamegame,,,

I did try to be tolerant

for about 2 minutes

Short fuse

Hard to light

Impossible to extinguish once lit: must run its course.

And Hoo-boy,  IT DID JUST THAT.

And feeling much relief,,,  one small detail remains,  but thats between self and Son of Bossman, and can be resolved afterhours/under the table.  

Even if there were a chance of a call back, I ain’t takin’ it.   I’m done.   In fact, I already have another position lined up, just negotiations to take place.   Welder: skilled trade, not unemployed for long unless by choice.   May not be the dream job I would like, but its solid, has scheduled hours, and that pays near as much if not the same as what I just bailed on.   Lateral move,,,, little to no lost ground.

    I ain’t a bit surprized, Bro. I’ve seen from somma yer writings, that ya weren’t all that copacetic with bossman, or various other tings. IMHO, ya been taken advantage of – bigtime. Such is life when ya hafta work fer somebody else. Been there meself. I did notice after I hit a certain age, that I was a LOT quicker to drag the F up, and just say “mail the f’in check”, and never look back.

    Totally unnerstand about the fuze, too. Glad ya got prospects, too. Always good to have a fallback position (figured ya did).

    I feel ya Dio. I was recently asked if I’d return to my last gig if they asked and the answer was an emphatic NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. NO EFFIN’ WAY. Been gone a year now and further I get away from it, the more I realize those sons-a-bitches were absolutely choking the life outta me.

    You did the right thing for YOURSELF, don’t look back. Glad you’ve got something lining up already, hope it works out well for ya!
