Where to start,,,,

Get off the duff for one.   Gen-X pulled this win over the line, Gen-X needs to get to work now.   WE don’t wanna, I get that, “just leave us alone” is our mantra, our bread and butter, how we raised ourselves: but that won’t work moving forward.

Get off the duff, off the couch, and in the way.   Get yourself into local politics if possible, or at least start making a shit-ton of noize about election integrity at the local level.    I saw the machines that KY is now using, and I know I posted up an image of a KY machine that was flipping voats and how the local Czar of Selections admitted that there was a problem after waffling for 24 hours over it.     THAT SHIT MUST CEASE.    If our voices can be manipulated, 2026 is gonna be a flat mess to undermine the Machine we just voated for.(assuming that this isn’t a bait and switch operation.   Talk the good talk, walk the same old bullshit after,,,   Fingers crossed on that, but watching like a hawk as well.   WIll raise Cain if the usual faces start becoming the norm in this administration.)    Start showing up at the townhalls, the board meetings, anywhere they try to make policy.   BE HEARD.

‘Cause if we aren’t making our voices heard, it will resort to having our barrels heard, or worse, silenced forever; deep sixed like.  We don’t want that, (well, there are a few,,,) because that road has a map that twists and turns on itself and usually the end road is way worse than what led to it.   

Positve note: seeing a couple of old faces, with new attitudes being applied in the potential administration army.   People that are pissed off, vocal, and unperturbed by  ‘honest talk’  Like Bannon: that man has an axe to grind now, and is more focused and righteous about it after his little stint behind bars.     Get him in position, give him some power, and let the fur fly.

It’s too soon to see serious changes happening, and I would bet that there are going to be much footstomping, delaying tactics from the usual suspects on confirmation hearings and the like,,, So no, there won’t be mad changes in things at first.   The only real changes that can be done are by executive order to suspend certain agencies until such time as they can be assessed for validity/whatnot.   (and all of those people in those agencies are gonna cry about how essential they are to ‘the democracy’…    IF I were Elon, and heard those words, my instant response would be “you’re fired” and begin criminal investigations into the speaker.

BUT, none of that will matter at all if we can’t fix our shit down here at the locallocallocal level.   

and we have two years.

I don’t like it.  You don’t like it.  I get that.   But the one thing Gen-x does know: no one is coming to save us, they never have, they never will: its ON US, same as always.

oh, And keep prepping.    As Sarah pointed out yesterday.  That ‘crash’ is coming sooner than later.     AND ON A SIDE NOTE: if you need things from places like Harbor Freight, GET THEM NOW,,, When Trumped starts to escalate his Tarriffs, that stuff is gonna fade fast, or get so damned pricey, it may as well be gold.   Don’t like it, but there is no other way to get the Corporates to come home.   ( I have a small list of tools I am looking at from there that are likely going on the card this weekend.   I’ll deal with the expense over time, but better now than when the price goes through the roof or become unobtainium.)(( I learned my lesson the last time.  Was looking at FPV stuff, and then Trumped did his thing against China, and suddenly the stuff I was looking at was completely unavailable in the US markets.    Get it now if it’s something you even think you MIGHT need later.)) ((( And I would bet the leadership in HF is scrambling to get as many cargo containers ON SHORE as possible, to stall a total meltdown later.)))

Yah, keep prepping.   Food stuffs and ammo being the biggest.   Water systems too.    As we recently saw, water is both a weapon and an essential.   Ammo, because if you can’t stand over it and defend it, you don’t own it, and no ammo means no defending,,,  

Never underestimate the ANIMAL within the HOOMAN.    When people get desperate, that animal rises to the surface.   That animal is why the most defenseless creature in the world is at the top of the food chain.

and its off to earn the near useless FRN’s so that I can pay for the toys on my wishlist: the wishlist for staying afloat when the flood of shit comes down.
