An elegy to a friend
I know y’all don’t know of whom I speak: he was something of a legend in his own right here’bouts, and will be missed.
Kenneth “Bones” Grey: Jack of all trades and general no-good hillbilly that everyone around here knew.
Thirteen years ago, He essentially gave me a chance to take his job, and I did, and made it my own. I took what he had built and expanded it into what I do today for the J.O.B. Even he was known to say, “I can’t tell you what he does or how he does it, because I taught him all I knew, and now its bigger than that.”
But even towards then end, His mind was sharp as a tack, and quick witted: his body failed him, not his mind.
And today, I am celebrating his release from this prison. You made it Bones, you and Chris are back together somewhere and that decrepit carcass you’ve been hauling around the last decade or so, will finally be put away for the last time. The tears on my face are of Joy for you. You will be missed, by many, and by many you might not recall,,, then again, you probably would, I don’t think you ever forgot a thing,,,

Even though I didn’t know the dude, I’m glad he’s not suffering anymore. Been there and done that with a few of mine. SO……. with all due respect, I’ll have 1 (or more) tonight for him!🥂🥃 Cheers Bones, R.I.P. man!!
Y’all take care,
Mike in FLA.

Reread the post, no sorrow here, I’m happy as heck for him. You’d have had to see him to understand. He wieghed 74# six months ago and was 6′ tall.
