Nuthin’ wrong with Mama-Gaia

Nothing at all wrong with the world at large,,, the problem is much more ‘individual’,,,,

That last is from the water of the place I visited,,,,  I could camp there for a week and be content, and believe you me, TEMPTED!!!!!   Through the week the lake is danged near abandoned and I would be quite content just sitting on that little spit of land and doing nothing but get re-acquainted with ‘Mama’,,,,

Been feeling way to isolated and disconnected lately.   And the world events are not helpin’ me any.   And why I keep leaving this danged phone behind me (chose not to this trip since I wanted some pics to remind me later. BUT, once I get home, the thing sits on the desk as I go about my routines, WITHOUT IT!!!

And I have to say, I am KNOW I am not alone in how things are hitting me.    There is a new term running around

anywhoos,,, Hope you can vicariously enjoy my escape today,,, It was seriously needed on my part,,, and I could have stayed there for days if had planned accordingly*****sigh******   I didn’t, obviously,,,   mehbe next time,,, like around fall when the lake REALLY gets quiet,,,,

    Dayummmm! Looks great, dood! Wouldn’t blame ya 1 bit fer wanting to stay a while. Glad to see ya got some H2O time!!

    Wasn’t planned, but Grandson unexpectedly arrived this mornin for a somewhat extended visit. Seems the PTSD is getting to be a big problem. He’s working with the VA🙄, and they *seem* to be helping.

    What is most unexpected is that he gave me his Purple Heart from when he (NCO) and his crew hit an IED and he (in his words) got ‘blowed the fuq up’. Fortunately, they were in a seriously up-armored hummer. No loss of life, but hummer got flipped, and injuries were many.

    Appears he’ll get 100% from the VA, but as usual, they can’t find their ass with both hands. Probably be a couple months here with me until they get it together. Hopefully, I can assist with the healing. Going to the VFW in a couple days – maybe do some good from being around some other vets.🥂🥃
