Tough week for us R&R ers. 1st Dickie Betts, now Robbie (yer right on the $$ on those harmonies!). Had the good fortune to see Kansas on their Leftoverture tour here at the Civic Center. Band was great – sound setup dudes – not so much. Cain’t win em all. Still a dam good shew! RIP, Robbie & Dickie!!🙏🥂🥃 Heavens Band got a BIG boost this week!

I hadn’t heard about Dickie,,, DAMN!!!! I actually knew DIckie Betts, and a couple of the others that ran behind the scenes with REO,,, Last I saw Dickie was at a funeral for a friend in Cincy in 2004,
Time moves on, and we all leave this illusion in the same way. Guess we’ll see ’em on the other side when we get there.
Yeah, Rufus is a damned cool dood, if he gets his hackles up, you can be sure the person getting said treatment has bad intent,,, Prosecuter and Judge and jury, all in one; and hasn’t been wrong yet. But if you are a good person, he’s your bud,,, just rub the belly man!!!
