feelin’ a little burned out,,,
Today is hump day, for my work-week, even though I am on the downhill slide of my payweek: tomorrow is my payday.
but these drag-ass days with wet-feet and blah weather and some seriously HARD work (we are tearing out the fencing around a HS football stadium so they can come in an build a new one. Several thousand feet of fencing and pulling the posts as well, and it has to be done systematically: fence wired rolled up so we can haul it out, etc, etc,,,)
At least today, the lower rung Emps showed up, even though Burnout left early,,,
but now home, feet dried off, shoes hung up to dry out, kids are fed, and I am trying to ‘ketch-up’,
and dropping out, eyes aflutter, dozing off.
So my burned out status is more ‘dog-tired’, and not burned out on writing,,, (as if,,,) but if I am too tired to read, I am probably not going to be thinking clearly either.
weekend is coming,,, needz it!
