Goo-gaw was it blowin!!! High teens steady, gusting to mid twenties. Paddled about 4 miles, and there were no Lee’s to tuck into, all over the place,
And I needed it.
Glad I brought BJ and maybe a little disappointed at the same time. Bj is my wild water boat, but she is not meant for winds: high profile to let the wind get grabby. She has 3″ freeboard exposed at her gunwales and a tall deck as well, fore and aft. She is my barge boat because she has the volume to “haul it all” but empty; that volume makes her an aircraft carrier in a typhoon,,,

Good ya got some H2O time. Even tho yer wore out, it’s likely a good thing fer that cranium.
Been a bit distracted – little too far away fer the peepers, but either the Angels or the T’Birds (not sure which are here this year) have been tearing up the sky today. As I mentioned earlier, big week here for that. Fly in started today, be here all week. Wish I could be there in person, but Casa Mikee is only about 3 miles away, and I almost have a birds eye view. No #%^&* crowds, either!
On a different note, regarding yer last poast – a good day it seems – fixd the twuck, payd bills, got sheared, new fletchings. All good.
I’ve been curious meself regarding the upcoming cycle. Been leaning heavily thataway, too. Don’t see how things can be righted without burning the whole dam thing down and starting over. Also don’t wanna see the unneeded suffering and dying that’ll cause to happen, but don’t see any alternative. We can hope fer a miracle, but hope ain’t a plan!
Appears that letting DJT get back in is whut ‘they’ are looking at, too. Much easier to lay the blame on him thataway and deflect away from ‘them’. Nuff said!
