Optimistic rationale

Turn of phrase for my wrap up post tonight,,,

Made it to Church, but didn’t get Lyssa wet.   Winds whipping out of the east had the lake in chaos and saw more bassboats pulling out sayin’, “don’t bother, that winds killin’ it”

Solo, yeah, no go,,, Don’t wanna be a statistic,,,  That was the rationale anyways,,,

the optimism was sitting in a lee spot on shore and looking at the world that I could have been on and thinking,,,

about absolutely nothing,,,

just sitting, looking at the world, the water, the waves, the clear skies and the formations of forest and rocks that make up the shorelines.

I ended the last post rather ubruptly, essentially yelling STOP,    I am starting to see more and more of that from Normals,,,  People getting frustrated by all the shenanigans,,,,    Like spending bills of 1000 pages with only 24 hours to be put to vote and then the thing passes,,,   SAY WHAT?!?!?   WHY?   that shit has been going on for far too long and that needs to STOP ASAP, and those bills that were passed in this way need retracted,,, its bullshit,,, its the Pee-lousy “we have to pass it to see whats in it” crap that has carried us down this road since 2001.   If you don’t know whats in the bill, the response should be an automatic “NOPE!”. or “NOT UNTIL WE HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE THE DETAILS”   

Oh, and we know the two characters that started that shit,,, Screw’emmore, and McTurtle,,,,    Key faces to the UniParty front.

STOP!!!

we need to shut it down, shut it down, get a grip on the levers, and start the machine back up on its original foundations; not this jacked up, jacked around, Goldberg device that works to enrich an oligarchy.   I keep hearing ‘term limits’ bandied about, and I would like to add “EVEN FOR THE BUREAUCRATS!!!”   No Career runs,,,   10 years max for the office workers,,, And their ability to ‘add’ to the Federal Register MUST CEASE!!!! if’n it doesn’t go through the Legislature or the Executive, its NULL AND VOID.  

And whatever happened to paying the Legislators Per DIem, Not salaries?   They, at one time, actually lived in thier districts between sessions,   not just vacationed there while residing in the district.  There are reasons this montrosity has grown so horrid.

Too many things that can be merely ‘tweaked’ to fix this shit, but it takes getting rid of the current problem and starting the machine over,,, Not an overhaul, just a reduction of extraneous moving parts.   SERIOUS REDUCTION, but reduction nonetheless.

And here it is, the last week of March, and the clock is ticking.   No predictions, still too early, but I has feelings,,,, NOV-Jan25 is going to be, not a tipping point: A PIVOT POINT.   The whole direction of this country turns on what happens in those three months.   That is about as prognositcator as I am going to get.   I only hope that Trumped has GOOD, and I do mean GOOD security.  Not just the Secret Service protection.

I couldn’t give a shit less about the animitronic corpse TBH,,,,

I just want my country back,,,

    When I was a young man I never thought I’d make it to 30… When I did, I assumed I’d ride off gently into the sunset having lived longer than I deserved. Now that I’m “old”, I find myself dreaming of spending my twilight years being sand in the gears, helping this juggernaut make the hard reset it so desperately needs.

    Unfortunately for me, I’m not the sinister type. Not nefarious in the least. No idea where to find the gears that need the sand, or what the “sand” actually looks like… Protests are a farce. Things are still a little too civil for kinetics.

    The frustration tank is full to overflowing.

    Voating harderer ain’t gonna do much for our poor, pathetic souls.

      I think you are not alone in many ways,,, Not everyone has the wherewithal or knowledge, let alone the immoral balance needed to be ‘sand in the gears’. Going kinetic? That, we do understand and that understanding is why we are so hestitant to ‘flip that switch’.
      As for the being sand in the gears,,, the biggest thing any one individual can do; Stop complying. Be ornery, let them know that their rules and diktats are bullshit by sticking a finger in their eye at every oppurtunity. The hardest part about that being; knowing which is local and which is actual Federal (seeing how its the Federal that is our majority problem, though in some instances, the local is so in bed with Federal as to be the same.)
      Vaoting is a joke now, that has been proven beyond the shadow of doubt, but I am going to go this year anyways,,, Something just tells me that not participating will do nothing, even if the voats are stolen from beneath our noses,,, At the very least, if Everyone ran on the Trump Train, the level of steal they would have to use would be so obvious, Grzxezzzxl on Pluto could see it, and he is blind in 5 of his 4 ears,,, (sorry, had to make a funny there,,,,)
