Momentary peace,,,

the view from my porch this eve,,,  Sitting out watching the sky turn from gold to lavenders and pinks, then fade out to a dusky blue-black sky.  Half moon riding in to illuminate the grounds for kittums to play before it gets ‘too cold’ for toe-beans, when they will come in and pile up on Daddy in bed.

Voo even hanging out watching the transition from day to night, all poetic like, just watching that sky.   I dunno if he can see colors or not (don’t think so) but he was watching anyways.  

Long day today, feel like I spent hours on a stairmaster,,,, up down ladders installing bracing on that ginormous gate at the Jail.   Thing has been just a bit too wiggly with evening winds, and was giving us fits (customer calls says the gate is acting up, but only in the evening and never when I am on site to diag it.)  Fingers crossed because the next step is to pull it out, cut it up for scrap and write the whole thing off as a loss.  Let the Customer find a different installer to handle that nightmare request.    At least that was the description I was given this AM in meeting with Bosses,,,,  

And was told we have turned down a couple of other calls requesting “BIG GATES”,,,   I think the bosses have learned a lesson or two from these beasts,,, lord knows I sure have,,, mostly that “I don’wanna do another” but also how to get them to work, (for the most part, wind and weather aside,,,)

skimming the feeds tonight,,, Seems I am not the only one coming to the synopsis that things are going krazier than expected is due to FearFactors and Fails,,,,    Gonna leave it at that tonight, and leave my feeds at skim mode for a day or two.  Don’t wanna dive in too deep and get immersed in the muck again,,, not this soon.  Feeling some peace tonight and M A Y B E tonight, I can get some decent rest,,,, Tossed and turned all night last night and dragged ass through the day for it.
