I’ve lived my whole life, purt’much in me own head,,, Always nose in book or similar,,, As I age though,,,

Life interupted,,,

I hate when I am reading something, and someone comes up to me and starts jabbering away as if I were not doing ANYTHING at all,,,, Ummm,, back up a second bro,,,, Gots to slow this train down so it can take the switchtrack at safe speeds,,,, Uh, now what what was it you were sayin’?

And thats about how I feel about my brain,,, A big powerful locomotive hauling carloads of useful information and skills, but dammit, you gotta abide by some laws of physics and let things slow up a second before expecting a change in direction. I do have the ability too multi-track (multi-task) but it has to be on my terms and the more ‘tracks’ I run, the longer it takes to consolidate,,, toss in a wringer and you totally derail me somewhere else (usually something will be left half done or totally fubared.)

Yesterday was one of those ‘mulitple tracks’ days,,,, Finally, about noon, I was able to clear the decks and get down to one track (which was actually two tracks since it was my efforts and an assistant) and it wasn’t until I had to send my help out to get something that I REALLY made headway,,, I am the Lonewolf type definitely,,,,

And the problem solver,,,

My ‘assistant’ yesterday was relaying a story about one of the other crewleaders fighting with a problem, ended up redoing it three times,,, All over a half inch descrepency. Now, we aren’t building rockets or space habitats here; there is wiggle room in our doings,,, A half inch is not a deal killer, nor is it going to be get people killed later down the road. The Guy relaying the story sorta pissed off the crewleader in question though: said “Dio would look at this, and already know what to do” (facepalm!)

I tell my boys all the time ” Illusions,,, It doesn’t need to BE right, it just has to LOOK right.” I have put up fence that was not “bubble” level, but in relation to the surrounding areas LOOKED dead flat. I know this is experiance that can be acquired, but there is quite a bit of intuition involved too. I try to teach it, but,,,,, I’ll just leave the rest of that unsaid,,,,, ((years in Entertainment taught me the value of ‘Illusion’ and how something ‘doesn’t look right’ can be made ‘right’ with just a little tweak or two, AND, that perspective is everything when it comes to human eyeballs. Think ‘3D’ art on paper,,, looks deep, but the reality is two dimensional))

and if someone starts bugging me with outside unrelated details:DERAILMENT,,,, lever the loco back onto the tracks, check for damage and get the steam back up,,,, (and why I want a cat-free office in my future,,,, Yeah, even fuzzies can derail this train,,,,,)

Some of that ‘pattern of thinking’ is why I don’t jump at the latest outrage anymore. Like the recent mass shooter Broken Windup Toy,,,, Brought it out for others too look at, but kept opinion of the actual events (other than my opinion that it would lead to MORE gunsales, which quickly turned fact: these things ALWAYS do.) Something like that, I am collecting information in some small area of my back brain, and watching,,, Stop reacting to the ‘latest’ and start putting the puzzle together. there may be missing peices, but there are enough to start seeing the picture. Its a case of ‘multi-tracking’ and in this case, one I do unconciously, at least until it grows into something that needs direct attention.

The picture I am seeing currently, (right or wrong, time will tell) is this: world wide, there is growing fear in the higher seats of power that thier time is short and about to become quite uncomfortable. The cause of this is their own doing: manipulation of currencies to fleece the people under them, and that whole pile of rubbish is about to collapse ( IS, in my opinion, just hasn’t reached terminal velocity yet) I feel this is why we are seeing more and more conflicts around the world, some of which, like our shooter in Maine recently, feel VERY contrived or staged. The Israel thing, not sure about, seeing how that area is/has been/will be a hotseat of turmoil until one side or the other is wiped out completely. BUT it could be the tipping point into WW3/continuation of the Crusades, with potential ‘final chapter’ of such: my only fear there, that they take out the rest of the planet in the attempt. BUT, all of these are doing one thing,,, distracting the majority from the real problems laying under the stage. The Support beams are rotted and when they fail, the whole show collapses into the orchestra pit. Or it could be so far as the basement,,,,

No, my thinking does not take linear paths,,,, I wander all over the damned place and thats part of my strength, I get to see things from the backside and from outside the box. Sounds strange since I started this thought with “Freight Train analogy” in how I work. Think of it this way,,, My ‘time line’ is the freight train,,, my brain is the engine with all its moving bits and reciprocating parts, only this ‘engine’ doesn’t have ‘fixed movements’ with tolerances that can be measured to the fourth decimal place. And its fuel is ‘INformation’, and its one hungry friggin engine, let me tell you.

Ok,,,, nuff of this track, time to get back on my scheduled track and do MY THING,,,, Kittums woke me at 4 am; a little TOO early to hit the water, and now its headed to first light, time to head to lake.
