And thats a wrap

accomplished quite a bit today, even managed to get some lake time in. Not much mind you, since its the lake I am bored to tears on,,,, really wanted to take it to Laurel and have some fun in waves again, but thats an hours drive one way,,, gots to be frugal too.

Buff is running true again. Thought for certain that I was going to be tweaking tie-rods, and upper control arms with the way her tires were duckfooted. Nopes, jsut a few turns on ONE tie-rod and her camber and toe came right back in line. (and I can hear B saying “I told you so, ya skinny bumpkin! Love-ya Bro,,,, will see y’all soon)

Still work needs done, but now I am much more at a place where I can deal with that without all the little stuff wringing my financial anxiety side. I should have bought that blower motor through the online source, but went ahead and bought local and CHOKED when I saw the price, but at that point was commited to ‘get-r-dun’. and damned glad I did too; tackled one problem and fixed two and alleviated a ton of stress.

and now with the alignment done, even more stress relieved. I won’t know 100% if I ‘nailed it” until it rains, (that was when she was at her squirelliest) but I would say I am damned close. She tracks straight and has mild resistance in turns (wants to pull straight, just like she should) and that squeal in left turns is GONE. On the way to the lake, there was a turn where she would always squeak, and I tried HARD to get her to do it again and Nopes,,, we’s good,,,,

As I told my Unk,,, Not my first alignment, but IS my first in a driveway without a computer,,, gotz to admit, I am patting my own shoulders a bit right now. I know, I know,,,, they had to do it this way for decades before some smart guy figured out how to tie a computer to some strings and levels and make it complicated,,,, So I just did a little trip back in time and learned something ‘new’ LOL.

back to building a monster gate tomorrow,,, Best as I know that is,,,, Bossman sometimes gets that wild hair in his nether-regions and things change on a dime. Three days to get my hours this week (I have the hours from Friday so thats a plus) but I will be taking this friday OFF!!!! Birfdayz, camping trip, chiropractor appt, kayaks, bourbon and good food,,,, J.O.B. can kiss my lily white butt,,,, I will NOT be available. I can swing a short week this time around as the bills fall across two weeks instead of the usual same week, this month.

it’s gettin’ late, I am really tired since its been a day of accomplishments,,, and its stinkin’ hot and humid tonight. I have a good breeze coming down the hill that is blowing right across my bed right now and that’s gonna make all the difference in the world to me right now. More tomorrow as I find something to bitch about,,,, I am sure there will be somthing,,, ;-P
