Taking flight???
Y’all remember this beautiful bird?
Well, today is the day,,,,
Da is planning on releasing her today. She’s made strides in recovery, especially after Da realized she needed water more than food. She was dehydrated and couldn’t digest what she was eating. Once she got water in her, things started staying down and she started filling out again.
Southern wing is still a little droopy, but she has been flexing it more.
SSOoooossss,,,, Today, we set her out and see what she does. If she takes flight, (and I will video it and try to post here) she’s good to go. If she tries to take flight but fails,,, Well, we have a rehab place lined up for her and I will have to transport her there. (they say they can’t as they don’t have the funds to be ‘runnin’ round the state’. it is a 2 hour drive,,,,)
Here’s hopin’ she gets to go free today.
