Help the helpless,,,

Isn’t that like a Christian ethos or something,,,,  (I joke, I know it is)  

Poor raptor (she ain’t little either,,,) had a bad ‘hit’ on a rabbit or something; got tumbled and sprained her wing.  You can see it drooped in the wide pic.  Da found her because the yardbirds  were raising Cain about her prescence.  Half starved to  death, she ate half a rabbit that dad gave her.    Da is going to see about getting her back in the air, and if she doesn’t, will find a shelter for her.  I know there are raptor shelters around   

Beautiful birds,    And that stare,,, SO intense,,,,   Thats the look you need when some poly-tickian approaches you for ‘your vote’,,, lets ’em know just WHOM is in charge.  The “I’d rather cut out your liver and toast it for a snack while you watch” look.  

I’m hoping this one recovers and regains her rightful realm in the sky.   She has full movement of the wing, but lets it droop right now since its hurt.  She did raise it when Voo came over to the cage to see what was of interest to us Hooomans.  (and if Da has his way, she will be too fat to fly,,,   He’s already scoping the local rabbit population as her source of protein that HE will supply while she heals.)
