It’s flippin’ HOT

Heads pounding from being out in that krazzzeee pissed off sun all day (without a hat, totally my fault,,,,)

Came home, Da’s hiding in his house, and can’t says as I blame him. AC kicking as much as he will break down and set the temp, but the good thing for him is dropping that humidity in the house. Mission accomplished as I caught chill sitting there for five minutes (as the sweat evaporated) but then starting getting warm again. I can’t handle AC anymore,,,, If I get adjusted to the AC, I can’t handle the heat outdoors,,,, And I haven’t the means to run an AC unit in my place currently. I could, but I would need to triple the battery bank size, and adjust the number of panels I run accordingly.

Walked into my place and the kids are all sprawled under the ceiling fan,,, Mama, the longer haired cat of the the three,,,, Kitteh pron pose on her back and all four legs nearly touching the floor, TOTALLY sprawled out,,,, They may be ‘dumb animals’, but they ain’t stoopid by anymeans. Makes me wonder who the smarter species is: Us the humans, or the kids that make willing slaves of us?

some good news at the J.O.B.,,, and some bad, but it all evens out. Yesterday, being Muhnday, was really an easy day. Today, Muhnday came back with a vengence: the other krew leader quit yesterday and I was tagged as “IT”.

sigh.

I am at least two days behind in welding due to running crews and now it looks like I am the only crew leader. One of my most recent crew, could lead one, but he hasn’t been there long and most of the others probably wouldn’t want to take orders ‘from some newb’, despite the fact the man can think circles around them with half his brain tied behind his back. Not my call, of course, I can only make suggestions. though my suggestions tend to carry some weight too.

But we will muddle through, we always do, and if I have to start catching up on welding after hours, then that is what I will do. Maybe even go in an hour early and knock out the hot stuff before the day starts getting into ‘broil Dio’ stages.

but the good news is a bump in pay. Not going to think about the why of how it came to be, but it was promised today, and I ain’t gonna bitch about it. It all adds up over time,,,

TIME,,,, right now, time for me to jump a shower and tackle it to the ground, then find some food to stuff down my gullet after I have cooled down some. The very idea of food when I am hot makes me nauseous, and I sure don’t want to add heaves to my already pounding skull,,,, (and no, I am not dehyrdate: still pissing clear-ish, and sweating like a whore on dollar day,,,,) Drinking waters and gatorades, keeping a balance up. I may make up my other drink to take tomorrow. Honey, vinegar, potassium chloride, in a quart of water. Sometimes toss pickle juice in, instead of the vinegar. Takes a little getting used to the taste, but quenches thirst like no other and rebalances electrolyte levels.
