Silent running

Grizzy didn’t wake me with his usual anxiousness this morning,,, I came to, about the same time as I would if he had, but I came to slow, and my energy levels right now reflect that. The little fuzz-monkey was there though, just resting on the windowsill near the head of the bed, and when I came to, saw him, he reached out a paw and tapped my forehead: almost as if ‘mornin’ pappy! lets play!’ And thats what we did for a few minutes: played swat the fingers, chew on knuckles. He’s easy about it, unlike Mama and Zooms, who tend to draw blood when they get too excited.

Ran through the rest of the morning making my coffee, giving the kids food or treats (they all have different schedules,,,) and scanning the webs for signs of relief/released canned sunshine reports. Same old same old out there in the great wide world. Some group is trying like hell to destroy the old for their vision of ‘better’, other groups are just trying like heck ot hold on to what works. It may not work ‘great’ but it works, and there is that engineering maxim to account for “perfect is the enemy of good”

Only real problem I see with the plans of those that want to make the world better: their ideas are bunk that started festering as soon as created in the head of Karl Marx. Delusional crap that can’t survive five minutes in the light of REAL human nature. Critical thinkers see the fallacies, know ‘it won’t work’, but find it difficult to scrub the filth from the indoctrinated: they love to wallow in the stuff and refuse to see a better alternative.

It’s early, I am in a meloncholy sort of mood, and have this danged song running in my head. Haven’t heard it in years, but this morning it was my earwig,,, Mike and the Mechanics/silent running (would do an embed but bandwidth is severely throttled right now and TEXT is about all I can upload, Can’t get the embed code, things are so tight on this end. Thanx Verizon!)(on that note, StraightTalk, the wallyworld fon service, was just picked up by Verizon as a sister unit, no longer a renter, so now bandwidth is even tighter,,, Noted that things started getting slower about a month back when the transition was made; if you are a verison customer first, you may have noted the slowdown as well.)

Better days? yeah, they’re coming, but there is gonna be a lot of crap inbetween that ain’t so ‘better’, and that better won’t be because of Xi-dens’ plans of building (which look a whole lot more destructive than building. I imagine his handlers think demo is in order to bring their dream to life, only, thier dream is one of those mentioned earlier,,, Festering septic refuse from the mind of a charlatan.)

Anywhoos, I need to get my self in order so I can ambulate my way to the J.O.B. and deal with low wattage types. Likely a short day today, just hang some gates and haul off the old demo’ed fence.

And I could be wrong: there could be tons of stuff I must weld up for the other krew that I have not been informed about yet. They have been busy too. Dunno, will find out, always do,,,,
