Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said it, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

A little illumination in my krazee world

Mama-kat has been doing the nesting thing: finding hidey holes, making nests, such as if she were preggers and ready to drop kits,,,

She ain’t.  She hasn’t been in three years when she breach birthed Monkey kat, the smallish runt that I had to coax into life after the birth.  That one tore Mamakat up pretty good and since, she goes through all the hormones, but never the practice.

Today at work, Rufus found Reese’s kittens, dragged one out to show us (didn’t hurt it other than some slobbers,,) and when I realized it was still very much alive, less than a week old, I picked the poor thing up and headed to where Reese was eating in the shop.   Set the kit near the bowl and when she realized it was hers, she snagged it up by the neck and headed to her nest.

The illumination for me is that Mama has been picking up on scents from Reese-kat (reese like the peanut butter cups, shes a callico) and all the fun and games here are ‘sympathy hormones”; or should that be called ‘wishful thinking hormones”?   Dunno, but Mama is definitely driving me and the boys batshit.

And now I have to figure out where Reese moved her kits,,,,   Since she knows the dogs have found them, she will have moved them with a quickness.   Not always to the best location either.   Her litters have a low survival rate between the dawgums and the male kats roaming around.  And being ferals: that doesn’t help them either,,, even though bossman and self feed the heck out of them. Of all of her litters, Little Pale was the only one that I have ever partially tamed, and I know  he is no longer part of this plane of existence.   (road killed,,, since his daddy ran him off the ‘territory’ and he had no background for ‘out-there’,,,   )

RIP little buddy,,, see ya on the next round.
