Well that was educational
She’s still fast, but not the gazelle she was last weekend.and you have to push a bit more to hold cruise. But looking at her waterline,,, ya can’t really tell she’s hauling an additional 30+#. She is maybe sitting 1/4″lower
But thats enough to make a difference in performance. Even riding waves she feels sedated, not lively.
I’m not really spending much time in the seat, mostly just finding quiet spots and letting the “ick” of the past few days leech out. Spiritual cleansing. Even trying a different boat ramp (but won’t likely be back, huge hike between water and parking) Very pretty scenery, but way more fast movers than I like. Waves aren’t a factor since this area is the deepest part of this lake, but ‘safe zones ‘ are far between: lots of cliff faces at the waters edge.
