Shoulda stayed in bed,,,

Long story short, I sorta fired Bible Thumper today.

And it rained on us pretty much the whole day,,, Self and one other finished up the job we were sent that was intended for three, not two. Busted our nutz after I sent BT packing.

Not going to go into details but when someones self-rightous hubris starts to interfere with my work-site, I don’t give a rats ass WHICH religion it is, I shut it down or they go the fuck away. He chose the second option.

Son of Bossman and I need to talk about it and I am probably in for an ass-reaming over it, but I feel justified over my actions. (ass chewing more because we are so short staffed, more than WHY I did what I did.) At least I didn’t bust this guys face like the last crew-leader did when he started ‘feeling the spirit, needing to spread the word, and NO MAN could tell him otherwise,,,”

oh, but I was so very very close to swinging some shit on him,,,, It takes a lot to get my fuse lit, but once lit, its VERY short, and this fool had it sparking, but not taking light.

It’s still raining out there, my feet are damp as is the rest of me, and aches and pains from the years are returning to haunt this old carcass. ALl the kids is home, looking at me like the weather is my fault,,, Short term memory must be a blessing in some ways,,, It’s not like I enjoy being stuck inside with nasty weather blowing about either,,, But right now what I DO WANT is to be stuck inside, warm and toasty after being stuck out in THAT SHIT all day with a krazzee Evangalist beyond reach of reason.

I’m tired, cold, wet and ready to hit that shower for a long warm-up. Coffee is already perc-ing up and should be good and strong by the time I get out. Time to sit and get the caffeine/blood ratio back to balance and some warmth deep inside to start easing those aches.

I need a damned vacation,,,,,
