word back on the dona-boat. Going to pick it up this eve,,, Will know more of what its future holds, if it has a future,,,

Settling into the weekend, trying to keep off that hamster wheel of craptastic reality that is so ubiquitous these days. Facts I see, whatever we are told about the world, has so very little effect at the local. I worry that its the ‘very slowly then all at once’ effect of things; where we won’t feel the collapse as its happening, but then when we do, things are so far gone that recovery will seem hopeless.

Things are NEVER hopeless,,, “No problems, just unseen solutions,,,” The people that keeps that in mind will never be held down, not for long anyways,,, I would like to thing Ameri-CANS are those people. I know there are a lot of ‘wannabes’ out there, born here, raised here, but never picked up that “Creed”,,,

So many people in this world call themselves “American”: there are people in Argentina that call themselves American, because they are from an American Continent,,, not the same, contextually,,, The Ameri-CAN I speak of is a mindset, not birthright,,,, The above pic says it all.

Those are the people that won’t be held down for long, no matter what our “Betters” intentions are (not good, you can bet the kitty on that,,,)

We are winning,,, It just doesn’t feel like it currently. I see more and more people ‘making do’ with what they have, shedding the deadwieght of things that distract. I personally would like to see a million more TV’s dropped into the landfills,,, I would like to see more conversations between people, not text messages sent over the airwaves, but baby steps,,,, And the blogs,,, The boring old man makes mention that there has been an uptick in ‘Prepper’ Blogs of late, but that the tone has changed from that of the Aughts (early 2000’s) And I agree, the tone has changed: HELL, My tone has changed!!! I think a lot of that has to do with the NON-STOP nature of this collapse shit,,, That we are continually inundated with stoopidity from on high, from people with this mindset of “I think it, therefore its reality” never minding that first order and secondary consequences are REAL,,, People that think “if we just outlaw gasoline, that breakthrough will happen” not understanding that “Eureka!” is not how science and discovery happen. Discovery is always preceded by “well that was unexpected, lets see if we can make it happen again.”

Life doesn’t work that way. PEOPLE don’t work that way. I dunno how many ‘thereaughtabealaw’ posts I have done on these sites of mine, but its been a few, and yet it seems only a handful of the world ‘get it’,,, That all of these laws ‘our betters’ keep writing are already out there and nothing changed the first time around. Murder has been ‘bad’ since before Moses came off the mountain with burning bush and tablets of stone, yet it still happens,,,, LAWS of man can be written in stone by they DO NOT change reality; human or universe. Only we can change, and only on the individual level, species wide change happens much more slowly, IF AT ALL. History shows us that human nature hasn’t changed very much despite all of our advances in tech and ‘civilization’: we still run around like apes, beating the ground in angst and fear, always afeared of that unknown something rearing its head and dragging us back into the darkness. In some ways, preppers are ‘beating the ground’ in angst even as we prepare for the worst,,, our preps are sheilds against that unknown.

well, personally, “i’d rather be looking at it than looking FOR it” is a better outlook than ‘things will get better’ hopefulness. Hope is not a strategy,,,

The sun’s shining out there, rain is in the forecast, but right now, its nice. I need to get out in that and out of this office with cloudy thoughts lingering over me head. I would suggest, if your weather is the same, get out, enjoy being alive, upright and breathing, etc etc. Don’t let the ‘reality’ that ain’t get to you. I have a few hours before I go pick up a dona-boat, and I WILL get some water time in before then,,,
