Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said it, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

Like a sugar coated plecebo

I think this linked article is entirely toned down. There are signs that the ‘rising tide of moral backlash’ is way stronger than even the best propaganda machine can hide.

That the level of krazykakes keeps escalating to new levels DESPITE the financial responses of its target audience, Just look at memes like these.

So many more that could follow up with those, but the fact is, THE MONEY shows just how much backlash is happening, no matter what THEY attempt to claim.

That linked article,,, the writer is laying claim to 2030,,, I think we are going to see much more activity by 2024, and that byt 2030 we will be in full swing of ‘that divorce’,,,

—————————————————————

I started today wanting to write about a question one of my cousins posed to me on some social media site,,, She asked “Who wants to go back to the 80’s level tech and life?”

Not me,,, How we grew up, maybe, but to be honest, I quite enjoy having the entire world of research available at my fingertips, and that was just not available to every day Joe in the 80’s. I do recall using the card catalogs to find things, scanning file after file of Microfiche tape for what I needed and all the note taking so that I could have the librarian print up the right pages to take with me for further reading. I remember hauling a shoe box full of cassette tapes with me when I drove across country and being absolutely bored out of my mind with them by the time I crossed Texas,,,(where now I can haul my ENTIRE 5 decade covering song collection on a thumbdrive and never hear the same song twice in 4 months,,,)

Was it simpler? yes,,, Was it Better? thats a subjective question because what constitutes better to me may not be your cup of tea. What I would say is that things were SANER,,, We still felt like the world was our oyster and that the Government wasn’t trying to kill us off. Granted, tax laws being what they were say otherwise, but it wasn’t so in your danged face as it is these days. And I do wish that the kids of today could grow up with the limiited number of rules and overwatch that we so thoroughly enjoyed then. Dunno how many nights I walked home in the dark from a late night D&D tournament, and not worried about Pedo’s or any of that. Not that they weren’t around, but in ‘that world’, discovery of one usually ended quickly, sometimes even clandestinely

(I was reminded of that time period watching ‘stranger things’,,, Yeah, netflix BS, but the directors really nailed that time period down in series. At least the first two seasons I was able to catch before the Lockdowns killed the schedules))

No, I like the tech, but I hate the tech companies. I wouldn’t have published one word if it weren’t for tech,,,I

wouldn’t have ‘woke up’ when I did if it weren’t for tech, (most likely)

No, I’ll stick to what we have, if we can keep it alive long enough. BUT, be honest, if thing were to collapse, we wouldn’t regress to the 80’s. We have lost too much of the simpler things that we took for granted then,,, Like those cardfiles at the library,,, We would fall further back than the 80’s and it would take longer to recover up to then because so much has been forgotten.

But I think we do need to take back control of the areas much closer to us than those leviathan organizations that swear they are our saviors. That won’t happen without that Divorce IMO,,,

scatter brained today,,, and a little stiff from yesterday,,, more laters
