And its about 12 proof higher than my usual fair,,, Not that that means all that much to me these days,,, I don’t drink to get annihilated, I drink for the mellow, (wth the exception of medicinal, which is on order tonight to wipe out these invasive bugs in me bod,,, BUT, that ‘tie one on’ will happen just before I hit the rack,,,,)
Feeling a touch better, but I can tell its drainage from the pollen counts thats irritating the upper respritory,,, I’ll go hours with no coughing, then take a walk and I am hacking and gagging. And the body is reacting as if there is a major invasion going on. The likelihood of some bugs in there is still good, and the immune system is in overdrive.
and that makes Ol’ Dio a tad miserable: temps have been back and forth between normal body temps (stlll high for me) and 100.7 (that one was the highest)

I’m diggin on the Larceny… Not as sweet as I was expecting, but damn, talk about a creeping buzz. That shit came out of the blind alley and mugged my ass.

Think I’ll stay with a 50% Jamison’s and watered down with another 50% of Drambuie. Now that mixture is definitely sweet lol…but only used medicinally for pain relief of course.

I was hoping that you’d like it. Guess I shoulda toldja it wasn’t sweet – if it was, I wouldn’t like it near as much. The bottle in my cabinet is my 1st one, too. Got it on a tip from someone else. It’ll absolutely creep up on ya if’n ya ain’t watching out! I like it as a sippin’ whiskey, meself. Rocks glass, 6-7 ice cubes (icemaker, so they’re not very big), and about 1/2 (or just a tad more😉) full of the medicinal alkyhaul! Good sheeiitt! Hope yer feelin’ a bit better today.
For Spud: totally agree about the medicinal uses – that’s what that bonded 100 proof Evan Williams is for😉😉

Sippin’ whiskey definitely,,, too good for a mixer. And it does creep up on ya. Feelin’ much better today. usual aches and pains, not the illness induced ‘Ugh!’ feels. Tied one on last night and topped it with a nyquil as I laid out, and things seem back in order today.
