Home and livin’ it up,,,,

To hell with it,,, I decided that I am going to enjoy living during the decline and went a little hog-wild for dinner. Sorry, no pics, I was mauing down before I even thought y’all might like to see dinner.

Oh, but I can still describe it to ya…

Three Ahi Tuna steaks (about the size of your palm each) smothered in “smakyomama’ seasoning, and 12 STUpenDOUS Jumbo Shrimp on skewers, smothered in Garlic and Herb seasoning, all cooked over open flames, basting the shrimp in REAL BUTTER. Where I chintzed was in the mash-taters,,, I did the Idahoan instant four cheese spread for those.

I had to force myself into discretion and leave some of it for tomorrows lunch, or I would be in pain right now from the stretched abs trying to contain it all.

NOMNOMNOMNOM!!!!! Ohboy, what a small feast for a solo dude on a hill,,,, Kittehs are all looking at me in disgust since I didn’t share even ONE shrimpy with them…

AND a small confession: I have this annoying habit of reading while I eat,,,,

And that leads me to a quote: one that sums up my opening post this AM quite well.

What more subtle minds are asking these days is this: when does this insanity tip over into evil? 

BINGO!!! I am not at all certain its a matter of “IF”,,, but one of “WHEN”,,,

So, eat the good meals while we can still find the stuff on the shelves, drink the good bourbon, (saving the rot gut for trade goods later down the road) and FRICKIN ENJOY BEING ALIVE .

Maybe there are some that would say I am being a fatalist in my thinking, but to them, I say, “phllllbbbbbtttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!” (if you can’t read that, it means blowing a raspberry,,,) If we’re going out, DO IT IN STYLE

(and if you think this frugal squirrel is going insane blowing mad money,,, Think again. the Tuna Steaks were clearance at IGA since Lent is over, as was the Shrimp. my ‘bill’ for all of this dinner was under $10. I know how to eat cheap and GOOD,,,, LOL)
