Now, I did NOT follow that link because anyone that has ever fired ANY GUN, knows the above is malinformed BS to scare the plebes. ANY Bullet, from a modern gun, is going to mess up organs and bones, to some degree, but the wording is intentional Fear Mongering,,, My 1911 is is going to ‘blow up organs and pulverize bone’ too,, Especially if I am running P+ and Talon hollowpoints. And, not that I would do such a thing, but if I loaded the HP with liquid mercury and covered it with wax to hold it in, things would get really F!!!’n nasty, along with potential poisoning. About the only thing in that article that came close to being fact, was the NUMBERS,,, Although, IMO, they are LOW in comparison to reality. Anyways, they say that there are over 16 million AR owners in the US. Of course that doesn’t account for the long range stuff. The AR being a medium range design. Good up to 600m but best working range is the 300m zone. That trumps the AK47 by about 50m, and THAT was the point of the weapon. Now that the AK74 is in circulation, those ranges are closer matched. (and why the Starz of the Perfumed princes want new rifles or better performing ammo, or both, and yeah, there would be some ‘kickbacks’ involved,, )
