Not everyone gets it,,,
and I am talking about that Video I embedded last night. I get it, not everyone does.
I shared it at work today, and the person shared with was not one to get it,,,,
And I think in no small part its due to the arrangement complexity of the music. There are very subtle things happening in the music that slide back and forth between ‘normal’ and ‘disturbed’, and its completely intentional. BUT, not everyone has the ear for that sort of thing and all they hear is “thats strange, totally not my style,,,,’ Fair enough, I am a muscian, even if I don’t play anymore (though I still belt out the occasional vocal now and again), and I know not everyone is, and even then, some that are much prefer simple three chord stuff and thats good enough for them. No harm no foul, there is a niche for everyone in music.
But the biggest message was at the end. In one sentence. “we are all wounded” simple statement, DEEP meaning and truth,,, Some carry the wounds better than others, some hide them very well, but none of us is perfect,,,

Been busier than a three armed monkey at work: two clients, dropped loads of work on me with short time frames,
and the wind storms we had through here on Friday,,, Totally destroyed the work we did last week at the ball feilds (where I was crane operator,,,) Client hadn’t paid yet, and no ones insurance wants to cover it, so Bossman has to eat it and redo the entire setup. He’s handling it rather well IMO; hasn’t blowed up on no-one about it,,, Sometimes you get the bear, other times, the bear gets you, and I think he is of the mind, the bear got him this time around,, Just deal with it, and move on.
Notta much going on in the world at large that I am aware of: been keeping my nose off the nets for the time being. (other than ttracking Mark E’s travels,,,,) And it says something about how busy I am at the J.O.B. Thats a goodness, and I only worry about how long it will last.
More tomorrow,,, gonna call it an early night and rise early, see what comes out of my head through my fingers in the AM.

Something that’s a lot lighter, thought you might appreciate another different musical twist. Brent Parkin is a country/blues/rock guitarist from Winnipeg who does something that I’ve never seen anyone else do. He’ll wear a slide on his little finger, and switch between slide and fingering at warp speed – at least for me, it’s jaw-dropping every time I see it. Most folks are too self absorbed to think very deep into anothers thoughts.
Too quick to , judge .
Too busy in their own minds , to fathom your thoughts.
I think a person might have to listen to that video many times .

Off topic..kayak man has been parked on the river stationary since yesterday They are launching a new rocket at latest count 14:40 hrs. He is on the river almost directly west of the pad , probably be good viewing

I first saw that video about a month ago and was mesmerized-it is really unique and frankly a little creepy. Probably ‘cuz I have battles with the little voice in my head on the daily… But glad to know I’m not the only one!

I think his version is a bit extreme, but I do believe everyone has that internal demon inside to some extent. Lord knows I do, and when I have characters wanting written,, more than most,,, At least mine can be controlled by tapping on a keyboard ;-P
