Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said it, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

About those lies,,,,

We know we are being lied to daily, I don’t think that needs argued, amiright?

And all of this recent build up to nuclear armegedon,,, I think it’s slightly blown out of proportion, by the fear mongerers, but that the situation of the world stage has led us to this, probably isn’t too far off base. And why I am not worried about it takes several tacts.

first off, it if happens, there is nothing at all I can do to stop it, curtail it, or nullify it. It will just ‘be what it is’,,, I have no say in who has the buttons to push, thats so far out our hands that its not even worth discussing here.

Second,,, Other than the initial blasts at ground zero, and some lingering issues of radiation, I think the whole scenario is blown out of proportion as well. My reasoning goes back to two nuclear disaster sites in the last few decades, and how the FearHype cheerleaders ran these campaigns of ‘wezallgonnadie!!!’, and what do we have NOW. Incident one, Chernobyl. incident two. Fukishima. Go to the forest that surrounds Chernobyl now and look for the mutated monsters living there. Amazing how they look like normal deer, bear, wolves and squirrels. Fukishima was supposed to burn a hole all the way to the core of the earth of something, and raise GOrzeela from the depths,,, and what we have ‘Aint that!’.

Initial blast range and the flash zone, yeah, sucks to be there, just ask those that survived Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but ya might wanna look at those areas NOW,,, Booming Bustling cities

The Fearmongerers love to sell Doom and Gloom, but the more I see, the more I learn, the more I start to put the words of the past to the reality of the day,,,

It took this species 5000 years of recorded history to get to where we are now, and we ain’t killed the planet yet. In fact, if we were to disappear TODAY, in 20 orbits of the sun, our most Major Cities would look like some ancient ruins with the animals of the wild running amok within. Another 50 years and the towers would be crumbled and falling, and after 100, you could fly over the area and maybe see a splash of concrete, but the ‘hills’ of tree cover would be uniform with straight line valleys.

The human species likes to make itself as bigger than it is, but when you look at how much space one person actually occupies when seen on the bigger scale,,,,, ‘we ain’t all that,,,’

theres a person in that picture

You can take the largest nuclear device known to man, I believe it’s the Tsar Bomba, pull all of its restrictions, and drop it into the Marianas Trench, to detonate at maximum pressure (before the wieght of the water crushes it into scrap metal,) and you know what it would do?

it would be like someone farting in a bathtub,,,, one big burp at the surface and maybe some wave action. It may trigger a small seismic event too, but nothing like those Tsunamis that MamaNature can let loose.

But Dio, how do you know?!?!?!?”

Honestly, I don’t KNOW but I can see how much damage we do in one good run and how quickly MamaNature recovers. As for dropping nukes into the Trenchs, simple physics can prove those points (and has; someone at MIT did the math: what you get is a ‘bloop’ at the surface and some pissed off fish for making a lot of noise. over pressure at that depth doesn’t even phase the fish that live there. The answer was so ludicrous they ran the test mulitple times to make sure.)

lets face it. We are in for a world of hurt coming on, but it won’t be as bad as the FM’s are trying to sell it. There may be destroyed land that can’t be farmed for years, but it WILL recover in some way, there may be destroyed cities from canned sunshine, but they will (eventually) be rebuilt, and you and I may not make it through to the otherside,

BUT

This krazee Fucked in teh head species we call “Human Beings” will keep marching forward in time, and maybe, despite our best efforts at self-destruction, will find a way OFF this rock and spread our nuttiness to the stars,,,,

God help those ET’s out there LOL

  1. As for REAL destructive power… compare Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and… Detroit.
