this’un’s killin’ me

I keep finding myself laughing out loud while reading,,,

I don’t usually go into psyche books or self-help stuff, but having watched a few vids by the author of this book, I said to heck with and bought one.   (which actually ticked me off since the Zon erroneously labeled the title with ‘ (two books)’ and I thought I was buying both.   Read the fine print Dio, ALWAYS read the fine print,,,,)

but anyways,,,  I bought this book,,,,

and while I have not finished it yet, I am strongly suggesting you get it and read it.   So far, (about 1/3 in) and I am quite happy with the purchase.    

and I keep busting out laughing,,,,  

things like this line,,,  

“and I don’t care how scientific you think you are, or how many letters you have after your name: you are one of us Bucko.  You are a crazy feeling brain-piloted meat robot, just like the rest of us,,,,”

Thats the only quote I am going to give you here; ya gotta read this book. And that quote falls right in line with how I feel about a large portion of those ‘in power’,,,   We all sit to shit, right? Ain’t no one any better than another at the end of the day, no matter how many extra IQ points they have.  

(and yah, only 1/3 the way in, and I am seeing truths in his words, in relation to ME and how I approach things, so,,,   so long as I am concerned, the guy has some credibility, or at least a damned good feel for what people are really like.)

(and for those of you that may have a wonder what this guy writes like, other than that above quote,,,   Check out one of his vids on Utoob-um, I think you will find he is a ‘no bullshit, deal with it’ type.)

On other fronts, Mark Ervin should be back on the water soon, starting his Gulf of Mexico leg of the Great loop.   I have been checking his GPS feed and it hasn’t moved since just before Christmas, but he released a synopsis video of the first half on Wednesday.   Looking forward to watching his progress and wishing him the best of luck in his endeavors (in no small part because he is inspiring me for ‘better’ as well.)
