Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said it, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

What was the turning point?

That was the daily question sent to me on Boo. And my answer may have seemed a touch snarky,,, “which one? my timeline looks like a Gordian Knot.”

But I can’t say I have had “ONE” turning point. Every year is a turning point of some sort. Every new relationship is a turning point. Each time I discover something “new to me” is a turning point of a type.

Big turning points, the TEOTOWAWKI’s I guess you would say, those I have many of too. Like losing my hearing and having a career end for it, that led to the breakup in a relationship. They aren’t single points, but compounding ones. Those three things caused me to reassess my entire world veiw, take a deep dive into politics (icky, messy, not fun) and REALLY look deep into beliefs of all sorts, not just mine.

And that may be THE turning point in my life. Been all over the place my entire life but that one,,, yeah,,, Dunno if you could say it was right or left turn, or if I did a “cobra strike” air manuver and reversed direction on a new altitude,,,,

Almost losing my da,,,, Yah, definite turning point, and I think that on is ongoing to some extent. I knew viscerally that life can end suddenly without warning, but Da’s incident drove it home with 2×4. and it seemed that my family danced with death quite a bit in the last couple of years; bad accident that almost killed my sis and her SO, my mother leaving us, my dad almost leaving us soon after, then my elder sis having a stroke while under sedation.

and its “Been there done that” sort of feeling too. Much of the spirit I have been feeling the last three years is reminiscent of that time in Kuwait, crapping my guts out under black skies thinking “so this is hell”,,,,,

Life is too damned short for allowing the politics to eat up your time. Pay attention to, yes, but stop dwelling in it. LIVE a little, Hug the kids. smell the flowers, get wet in a kayak, catch a fish,

maybe that is the turning point I am in the middle of AGAIN,,, Life is a Gordian knot, and we are all entangled,,,,

Yup , and to ever believe one party has your best interests in mind , over what the other party does , is a fools deception.
Each and every one of those gasbags are only in it for their own glory.
Not very many humans sacrifice for their brother, spouse or friend.
When you find those which do.,..best reciprocate or you will lose them.
