Appalaska goes ‘shuusssshhhh’
Another up and down night. The rain started around midnight, the snows were fast on its heels. Temps were dropping so rapidly, it kinda freaked me out, to be honest. I grew up in tornado alley and felt changes that rapid that were sure indicators you were ground zero for a twister. My hind brain remembers that and was a little perturbed to say the least.
Oh, that picture above: from the door to my porch and likely as far as this old monkey is gonna go today.
Depends a lot on what the air temps do. If they stay in this subarctic region, the woodshed is the farthest I go. If it warms up some, mehbe,,, Or mehbe not 😁
Other than disgruntled furries, I’m quite fine. House is right at 80 inside, food stocks are fine, More worried about water lines freezing than I am anything else. (I know, start a drip and things won’t freeze solid,, )
It actually looks like Christmas out there (well, maybe not to the land of Oz, where Christmas is in summer. That’un tripped my aussie GF up pretty good but it explained some of the traditional stuff to her in ways that words alone never did.)
