Alright, lets see if I can explain this. Y’all know, more’n’ likely that Dio is not my birth name, its my pen-name that I have been using non-stop since 2008 when Irate American  was my soapbox (a forum, no longer active, and probably only  archived  in some  Data center,,,, ). The standard then was to use an alias and it just carried over to when I started doing the blogging thing due to losing my fav forum.

WELLs,,,,,    Its carried over into my real life as well, I even have a Fakebuk account for Dio Hill,  Most of my online presence is Dio, B and T and lil Bub along with a host of others call me Dio IRL and I answer as such.   If fact, the ‘real me’ is rapidly losing ground in the social side of things, and Dio is taking over.  As I said to B around a campfire one night, Dio is the real me, that I always wanted to be, and while there is a fictitious background to the name, I AM DIO.

For everything except legal reasons, and thats what bit me, mildly, and kinda entertainingly, but bit nonetheless. 

I was setting up GabPay, so that I can establish a tip-jar as requested several times by others.  Don’wanna use the PPanti-gunny lefty ran scam mode.   and no one else really is open to that sort of transaction unless its for ‘a good cause’, where tipping your writer does not fall.,,,

So I was filling all of that info out, ramming all my legal eagle docs into place and the next day got “declined’ or “rejected’ in several emails.    Confuzzed I was, until I opened the ‘rejection’ email and it said, Photo ID is not that of Diogenes, we want his Photo Id.

Ummmm,,,,   (mildly embarrassed guffaw on my end,,,,)

OOPS!!!

So now I am contacting support in hopes that I can salvage my screw-up.  If not, maybe they will at least terminate the profile so I can start fresh with the CORRECT legal eagle information,,,,  

Its funny, when you hold an alternate Identity for so long, you really DO become that, Or maybe thats backwards: the ID becomes YOU, and the lines between blur.

(and to clarify, Wings was supposed to be printed under the Dio Hill name, but with my dads age, i wanted him to see my name in print on something bigger and better than a court summons.  Yeah, James is me too,,,)
