About as expected
Twenty year old truck, 287,000+miles,
Somethings gonna give, right?
Not even going to try to fix the P-brake at this time; to many little parts frozen by time and neglect. It has never worked while I have owned Buffalo, so its a pre-existing condition. Maybe later when the world has settled a little, assuming it ever does.
But that busted pin above, not an ‘in stock’ item, though the local NAPA will have one at open tomorrow. Didn’t even ask a price, just know that ONE pin deadlines my truck. (All you DOT MiL types recall the Dead Line at Motor T, I’m sure. Thats Buffalo right now.)
Tripped the new neighbor up purt good though.
Thats my gnat/skeeter/no-see-um deterent. Works danged good too. She had never seen anyone do that. Works best with Punky wood, but any smokey stuff will work. (Punky wood is the almost completely rotted cores of old stumps. I usually keep some around, but slipped this year, and whats out in the woods currently is soaked through. )
Gonna be another craptastic pay week. At least my bills are caught up for the month and I have nothing pending payment this week. Just means lean times ahead.
