VERY shallow lake
One of the feeders to the lake. Waters about 50°F
Clouds like these have been the constant the last few days
Blue dot is where I am, blue circle is usual spot.

Been a minute since I was last here. Like 4 years of minutes. This was where I took Duh!kee for her maiden float.

Not much has changed. Still a burping little lake from all the rotting vegetation on the bottom. Not little burps either, but ‘bloop’ing big burps. People that have boated in swamps and bayous will be familiar with this ‘event’. The water appears black except where its less than a couple feet deep, then it appears as a greenish-brown ‘Ook’

And flipping COLD. This lake isnt a run-off lake; its spring fed by no less than three mountain springs.

Now I have to take Blue Jean home and wash the muck of her gunnels,,,
