Sick is SICK, and thats just how it is.

And our world is sick these days.  Not the world itself, but quite a bit of society is, for certain.   At least if you go only by the EneMedias viewpoint.

Big Country hits on one thing that has been making the circulations of late: Cannibalism.   Seriously, there is a push to NORMALIZE this, and that is just flat SICK.   There is no denying that it has been a part of human history since time began, but we have proven that eating each other is bad news, not just for the eaten, but the diners as well.   Why are they trying to ‘normalize’ this now?   Why not, they fully WANT us to destroy each other so they don’t have to lift a finger, and can claim the ‘higher moral ground’.   They are destroying the economic world to impoverish people to the point of such desperation that if they hit that low, the act of becoming cannibal might cross the mind, and if they push the normalcy of it now, then the social leash will already be loosened.

All I has to say about that,,,   I hear of a band of eaters in my locale, they will have already written themselves off the script, and I will happily help them exit stage left.

Oh, but that isn’t whats on my mind today,,,,   More like local politics is on my mind.   We have some damned good kids working for us lately.  Young’uns that are blowing this grumpy old fart away with their exuberance at doing good work, hard work that many steer clear of, and they don’t bat an eye at it.

BUT, the education levels they have,,,,  

or maybe I should say LACK.

Both graduated High School, but their reading skills are nearly non-existent.   One can’t read cursive writing.   

I’ve posted about that being an issue with my Grandbehbie at one point: could type 80wpm on a keyboard, but couldn’t write her name without difficulty and could NOT read any handwritten words, even if printed.   At least she could read typeset, and I started her to reading some of Pratchetts kids books (the Tiffany Aching series). But these guys,,,   They are at the point where they are only interested in what guys that age are interested in: Getting the nookie,,,   Reading? Pshaw! thats for prissy boys,,,  

And I know they aren’t alone in the lack of education.

Makes me want to run for the board of education locally and see if I can’t make some, or at least TRY to make some changes locally.

What really burns me is how the teachers don’t seem to give a damn.   They (and I know this doesn’t apply to EVERY teacher, locally or generally: I am sure there are still good teachers out there that try their damnedest to make a difference in the lives of some of their students.    I was fortunate enough to have 4 or 5 in my personal history and if not for them, I would probably NOT be doing what I am doing at this current moment: writing.  So no, I am not trying to broadbrush them all, but that this has become common place, makes you wonder just what is really going on.). anyways, THEY, the teachers don’t seem to understand what teaching is all about.  Its not about indoctrination.  Its not about teaching kids how to pass any test and forget the points the testing was for.   It is about TEACHING THEM HOW TO TEACH THEMSELVES, and that is the one thing that seems missing from the ‘system’ now.   We need to bring back the Trivium in basic education and do away with all the other bullshit.   The first two of the “Three R’s” are part of the Trivium and I can tell by the boys I have working with me, that they have been relegated to ‘curiosities’ in the modern edu-muh-kation system.

Well, I think I do know whats going on.   As Linus says to Charlie Brown in one strip “Do you think they would teach you how to destroy them?”, and thinking people are the thorn in their side.  People like me, Sarah Hoyt, Big Country,  Arthur Sido, Francis Porretto, Chris Muir, etc etc etc (and that list is only a partial of those I read, or at least check on, daily). Nope, they don’t want free thinkers.  They don’t want CRITICAL thinkers.   They want people that aren’t able to do much more than parrot the lines that the ENeMedia spews, and will get whatever JAB is next in line, without question, with no reservation, and will keep lining up for whatever latest Tax travesty they want to unfold.   Like ScwabbieShitteshow said; “you will own nothing and be happy”,   THAT is what they have in store for the entire world, 

but it won’t work, it CAN’T WORK, because people aren’t machines or widgets that will ‘fill a niche’ and nothing else.   As Sarah stated in one of her essays, “you can’t force that sort of evolution and expect success” (or something similar). 

But, they sure are going to try and force it, and in between now and that total failure of their theory, WE suffer.  

and they want people to eat each other,,,,

There is only one cure for that illness,IMO, and it starts with some high speed lead.
