Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said it, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

Considering the actions at large

Sarah gives a great synopsis of what is REALLY going on in the world, and it bears reading, if, like me, this shit has been getting to you.

They hate us.

BUT, they hate themselves even more, and what we are seeing is reaction to that internal hatred.

So, are we ‘going backwards’?   Yah, I think so.   Heck, if you look at the time lines of the last Century, we are mirroring the whole economic thing pretty well.

Will that mean some tyrannical Administration in place, like Roosevelts?   Who knows,

I’d rather see another Trump-esque Prez, but this time with the balls to fire every single last one of the ‘Tards and suspend 90% of the TLA’s “Until Further Notice”.   To include the Infernal Rectum Stuffers.   For over a hundred years, the Federal Gov did NOT get its income from taxing its people directly and it did just fine.   But those were times where the ‘public servants’ had morals, at least for the most part.   Looking at how a certain Occasional Cortex went from Barista living in moms house to a multi-millionairess in less than 3 years,,,,   NO, no grift or graft involved there,,,,

There are ways to lock in Honesty, but not with our current system in place.  We would need to put in place, first and foremost, Term Limits to keep the Career politicians to a minimum.   Second off would be that ZERO Investing be allowed at ANY level DURING and for 4 years after they leave office.  You live on the salary supplied, Period, end discussion.   I am sure that others have some good ideas on how to limit The Barons of Tammany hall infiltrating and dominating the scene in DC.   Again, The swamp needs not just drained, but backfilled, before we can call it good.

And here is my idea for the BLacKRObe Society, also known as SCOTUS.   Each new Prez gets to nominate 7 judges for the bench of SCOTUS.  The usual interrogations by Congress still remain in play.

BUT

The new bench warmers do not take seat UNTIL said Prez leaves office.  They become the NEW Presidents thorns in the colon.   That new prez then gets to set up the bench for his replacement.    AND, like term limits for the Rest of the mess, These guys/gals do not get a lifetime pass.  One term, sayonara.   If the president that gets them the bench does two terms, but the one they serve under only gets one, Well, I hope you enjoyed the four years of Fame, ‘cuz thats it.   I started thinking about that when I saw how long RGB served and polluted the place.   (I think there would have to be a byline clarifying that if the president dies in office, they still get to serve it out under the former Vice/ now Prez as if nothing changed.  )

And all of that could be done without calling a National Constitutional Convention.   We do NOT want a Con-Con because the last one was ‘supposed’ to fix the shortcomings of the Articles of Confederation and RAPED that into something completely new.   A new Con-Con would be garun-damned-teed to do far worse (just look how they blithely stole a Federal Election, then a month later did the same thing at the State level in Georgia.)

Now seriously, I have no hopes that the coming Mid-Terms are going to do more than show us just how we are locked into this two party/Uni-party system  (not 100% true, but the media won’t dare cover the outliers, nor are some of them any better.  I’m looking at you Libertarian Party!!!) and the system is rife for sabotage and manipulation,,,,   No, I don’t think we have a say anymore.  Carlin had the right of it about Voating IMO.
