Maybe a little impressed

Three days of monsoon action, cheepy Chinee tent from place best not mentioned, and it is still “mostly dry”.  Rain started up again at 0345 and I had one small drip that kicked in quick, but wasnt totally annoying.   Not the end of the world and a relatively easy fix after things dry out.  Good to go IMO.

Funny that,,,    ok, maybe not funny haha, more like funny “roll your eyes at the shattered con artist trying to hold the line”  funny.  

I don’t disagree with the above, but I take exception that not dwelling on this crap is surrender.   I’m biding time, nothing else: awaiting an event horizon to happen when Joe Normie, enmass, say “ENOUGH!!!” .   I’m tired of hollaring from the ramparts and being told I’m wrong,  after repeatedly being proven right after the fact. 

Reality is a stone cold bitch, and she ALWAYS wins.  Like a drip in your tent at 4AM that just happens to be right over your face, reality will not abide being ignored, and eventually, the consequences of ignoring it catch up.   THAT is the event horizon I await.

I’m seeing tremors and portents that said event horizon is fast approaching.   The SCOTUS decisions of late aren’t that event: they are symptom of it though.  And noting that more and more are blatantly ignoring the new decrees from our wannabe masters is another.   Saw open carry in one of those gunfree zones and NOT ONE PERSON said boo about it.    Maybe thats just here, but I hold hope its a sign that people are hitting that “ENOUGH!” stage.
