Words have meanings #317 (?)

Lots going on in the world still, I have been watching, and just not saying anything. Still having some anxiety issues with the whole Ukraine thing: 99luftballoons etc kinda shit. I did grow up in the cold war so I still have images of that time when it was normal to have entire miniseries on post nuclear holocausts and other apocalyptic crap beamed at us in our homes And fact of the matter, its NOT Putin I am worried about. It’s our own FRAUD that scares the shit out of me. Putin has stated his case time and again and has not backed off that line. It’s our FRAUD that isn’t paying any damned attention and will push and push and push until a certain BEAR says “We’re done here!!”

Truckers,,,, So many damned good reads on the doings of Sociopaths and Good Ol’ Truckers standing ground. Too many to link, though this one, and this one, and this one are my favorites currently.

And we keep moving forward. One thing that keeps pestering my brain with all of the good things I am seeing is wrapped up succinctly by Francis in that first post. I quote him here.

My fear is that all of the good things will cause Leviathan to pull in its necks, maybe even pull in a few heads, but it won’t GO AWAY, just go back into hiding again. We may cut off the heads of the more obvious extremities, but there are so many more coils and tendrils of the monster still out there, still disguised and willing to bide time. Just look how long its taken the Progressive movement to get this far. Its an insidious beast that lingers. My fear is that we will not exorcise the beast, as needed, and only get a reprieve. The beast will feed quietly, licking its wounds and when our children’s children are of age, it will come back.

Not like any of this is new, eh?

Tis Monday, and I haven’t seen Mushroom clouds,,,, Time to keep on keeping on.
