Tripping down memory lane

I’ve been at this blogging thing for quite awhile.

Many times I feel like “I’ve already said that” , and probably have, 15 different ways in varied word counts from a couple hundred to several thousand. But I keep showing up for the beating and keep pounding the keys, hoping ‘this too shall pass’.

Here’s one from 2011. Don’t bother with the links inside it; one is broken beyond repair, the other is to a now deleted site.

I know I’ve brought up the growth of this country and how it was spurred by people looking for unbridled freedom. Freedom on their terms and no promise of safety I know I’ve tapped the SSI ponzi scheme a few times. Along with fact that I will never see a dime of the ‘promise’. I dont gripe because My Da IS, and thats good’nuff for me.

Eleven years ago. Not much has changed, and yet EVERYTHING has changed.

And its all getting set to change again. Maybe a convoy of truckers is a sign from on high about which direction said change will be. Truth is, only time will tell and historians of all stripes will have different versions to theorize with. History repeats/rhymes/harmonizes but unless you lived it, you never truly know it.
