Ain’t always right
Or correct or whatever ya wanna call it,
And I will happily admit it when I’m wrong. My last post has been updated to show where I was partly wrong, but I still stand on my words that most people are indictrinated to not understand stand what FREEDOM means. So few even understand the difference between FREEDOM and LIBERTY. And yes Virginia, there IS a difference; a huge one.
Peeps that have served know “liberty” as sometging GRANTED, and something that can be stripped at whim by those in higher places. We have liberties in this country, but very limited amounts of Freedom, and freedoms also bear responsibilities: responsibilities that have been neglected for many years, and why we are now where we are. We did not defend our freedoms, just as Franklin and others warned us of.
Tyranny grants liberties, and will take them away at whim. Licensing is granting a liberty, but we have been accepting of licenses for decades, so don’t completely rebel when they take it a step further by issuing mandates.
