Hmmm???
I realize my content has dropped off a touch the last couple weeks, but I am seeing something in my stats that has me questioning even that.
One post in particular usually has two or three hits, minimal, a day, everyday. The last 4 days it hasn’t had a single hit.
Its a how to for making a carbon brush for a oower tool. No politics, no rant, no bull. Just that and its the most hit post I have of all time on three blogs.
But not this week. No searches showing it, no hits, almost as if it were knocked off the search engines or sumpin. And my usual 100-300 hits a day are down to under 50 (and I can easily credit that to my slower posting, but the combination,,,, dunno,,,)
Busy experimentin’ with materials, tryinh to figure the best combination to make my cockpit coaming with. Loving the ‘color’ of mixing plumbago into the resin. Black as pitch. Thinking I may coat the lower hull in that. Plumbago is a graphite mix and while it will be in the resin, will make scratches and such smaller and theoretically, a slicker surface for ‘speed’. (Since I am the engine, I’ll take any and all advantages I can get, thankyouverymuch!!!) RIght now, my worry is that it may effect the cure of the resin, or even its strength: so, experiment and learn (fuck around and find out. Lol)
I picked up some white Mica flake pigment for the top deck. Mixed it up in a two part and applied it to a section of left over skin from Serena’s build days. Sweet!!! Looks like fresh milk, with a shimmer in certain light. Yup, Serena is DEFINITELY getting a makeover, maybe a new name to boot.
More later as I play catch up on the nets.
