Bored Dawgum, bored Kittehs, bored ME, so, DoSumpin!!!!
That clamp is holding two small blocks in place while the glue sets. I’m buildimg up the edges all around to 1″ thickness then will shape it. There will be a ‘lip’ around the outside after I get it where I want.
Hard to see, but there are two parts there, split vertical middle. Otherwise I’d have to cut the coaming out afterwards. This way, IF it works, I can duplicate my efforts for other kayaks.
Boring sundays can be fun, if workin on stuff is your idea of funs. Grizzykat says ‘pllbbbbbtttt!!!!!’ On works. 😹😹😹😹
