Easy does it.

Tek-ih-nick-illy, its my secind day as unemployed. Woohoo!!!! Woke at my usual catching dawn sneaking in after an all night binge session in Europe. Kittehs romping all over enjoying the cooler air of the morning. Occasionally I get to play speedbump on the kitteh superhighway called the front porch. Little buggers are FAST!!!

All good. Here in another hour their batteries will deplete and they will be fuzzy lumps laying wherever and in whatever position they collapsed in. Mamakat and I can breathe a sigh of relief then.

Have Serena on the horses for a minor repair. Noted the coaming coming loose from the cockpit. Probably wouldn’t have been an issue, but it was close enough that I wouldn’t have trusted it to hold the skirt for rolling. Also decided that front hatch I put on her was a useless eyesore, so pulled it and glassed in a patch. Still had some pigment left over and, while its obviously patched, it will pass muster under a casual glance.

I am not making any plans currently. I’d like to get to the lake and do some exercises and get some long paddle time in, and if I take ghost, I can do the latter (and humping that beast to water IS exercise) but Serena is the one I want to play in. ‘Not yet,’ she says, ‘this epoxy needs cured first.’

And now Grizz has commandeered my lap for nap time.🙄
