Sitting here waiting for my new plates/fitting session. Thinking about things, old Books (hat tip to Spud for reminding me about Zen and the art motorcycle maintenance. One of the book’s that inspired my two wheeled days,,,) self image, history good and bad and how, for some damned reason, most peeps, self included, choose the negative aspects as building blocks.

Not all peeps mind you. The proof that some do not is obvious in everyday life. There is always that one person that rises above the negative no matter how icky things get.

My Dio Persona in Diogenes aspires to be that. The persona Jamie reflects on how Dio didn’t ‘shit himself’ when his kayak was pinned against a rock and worked the problem like it was “just another day in the office”. And that is where I am making myself. I say it to the guys I work with (in my Dio persona) ‘ there are NO problems, just unseen solutions’.

They say you teach best, that which you need to learn. Guess you could say this blog is turning into my ‘teaching/learning’ platform. Take a lesson from Professor Bernardo La Paz, and try to stay one step ahead of the student,,,

I am learning to stop dwelling on the negative. So I fucked up and lost a plate to Poseidon; could’ve been a shit ton worse and my teeth are NOT the whole of me. They are merely a part of the vehicle I reside in, in this current space/time existence. I made a choice to be here and by IS/Universe/God, (choose your own higher power) I will BE what I want, how I want, as I want.

I do not exist to impress the world. I exist to live my life in a way that will make me happy.
