The view from my drydock

4 days. Only took four days and Gropey was under the lid again. Tick-tick, tock-tick. Theres a clock ticking, or sands running through a glass funnel somewhere, and they are running short.
Kamalaladingdong is salivating, I’m certain of it.
But in observation of all the BS, I’m not alarmed as much. I know they are going to try to push as much as possible as fast as possible, but they failed to calculate that they do not control everything. They are trying to shut us up, shut us down and shut us in, but they are trying to do so from behind a steel barricade topped with razor wire. As someone else so famously said: we have them surrounded.
They’re scared.
With 8.4 million guns sold during 2020 alone, maybe they have need of being scared. And that was just one year, how many more are out in circulation? How many rounds of ammo? How many not documented? And how many trained for real time use of such in how many different theaters like the sandbox. And another point being, many of them are hunters with wood skills and more importantly, intimate knowledge of their locality: stuff that doesn’t show on a topo and is obscure in a sat image.
The credibility of media, the diaspora to other options in Social Media, the rise of blog traffic (the true citizen reporters),,, Things they have little control over and when they do tighten the screws, people find alternatives. Two way, VHF/UHF, CB, all flying off shelves. People starting to look for ‘side gigs’ in more numbers. Gardens going in where I have never seen one before (locally, and not so local from my travels over the weekend). People are waking up and not the ‘woke’ that the left wants.
Its scared, and the sands are running down, and it knows this is its one last chance.
