Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said it, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

Who wants to work for nothing?

Find someone willing and ask them why the idea is so appealing. I’ll wait.

Nothing huh? Not one person?

Not really surprised.

But so many want this thing called socialism. (Read communism)

Why?

Because there are promises that you’ll be taken care of ‘no matter what’. And that ‘no matter what’ is the lie behind the mask.

In order for that promise to be fulfilled, the bar has to be lowered so far down that the least appeal is able to touch it. In order for that promise to be fulfilled everyone has to surrender all the gains of working to insure no one does without.

Go ask anyone that grew up in Communist Russia.

Hell, go live in Cuba for a month. (If you can. ) it won’t cost you much, only $20. You’ll lose that weight you’ve been grumping about and get to meet some truly resilient people.

Working without gain discourages working to ones utmost. Why strive if you gain nothing but empty promises of what you should be able to supply to yourself.

Without risk, there is no gain.

Without gain there is no growth.

With no growth, stagnation and rot become common.

Stagnation and rot destroy foundations.

That last is why Communism/socialism/ and other welfare oriented programs will ALWAYS fail. It isnt the ‘right people’ or more ‘understanding’. It IS a fanciful grasp on reality and total ignorance (arrogance) that human nature can be ‘adjusted’If you like what you’ve read, consider supporting this site by purchasing one of my books
