When push becomes shove.

(I wrote this Wednesday after the wordspill post and after ‘catching up’ on email and news feeds. Both posts are relevant, but this one is more up to date.)

Texas,  God love ’em, kicked the ball into the realm of SCOTUS by sueing Wisconsin, Pennsylvania,  Georgia and Michigan.  ( and Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and South Dakota have joined the ranks on the side of Texas.)  There is a larger portion that could take this on as well.  AND, SCOTUS has already entered the suit into docket meaning THEY WILL HEAR IT!!!!! 

Others have posted the implications of possible outcomes.  From removing the questionable ballots from the count (throwing them out meaning Trump takes the state) to removing the electoral votes of those states completely. (Meaning the honest voters of those states have no say in the election this round.) 

I don’t think SCOTUS will pull the latter since they would be removing all the stops condemning millions to a state of serfdom in a sense.  Thats not how you make friends or keep respect.  I think the likelier version will be just removing the questionable mail-ins reducing the slight to a few hundred thousand instead of millions.

We’ll see obviously.  I can only hope that the results are JUSTICE, and not JUST-US.

Of course, there will much gnashing of teeth, wailing, pulling of hair and whatnot, but hell, after four years of the tantrums and swindles to front stop a sitting President,,,  

Will we see more of this? Or this?

Note about the last one. If you are involved in an accident at normal road speeds, the likelihood of your car catching fire and exploding with enough force to send the engine block 50 yards down the road is pretty much impossible. I’ve mentioned that a car bomb has a unique signature from those of a pile up. The engine block deciding to part ways with the frame and transmission are part and parcel of that. And note, a black powder pipebomb will NOT do this. (And what you’ve seen from Hollyweird is mostly BS with gas bombs for effect. Real explosives don’t flare like that.) This was a case of something with a lot more oomph involved. I’d love to see what traces forensics finds but they are already spinning this as ‘something else’ so further information is not likely to be available.

But I list those as what we can expect. One was a Trump supporter, the other was from the other side of the aisle. This is what will be daily news if push becomes shove. This is what a civilwar of political origin/ideology looks like. The IRA, PLA, and others can all tell you further details. And you don’t even need to ask them, just read the history lessons from those areas. The Israelis can tell you stories as well, from both opressed and victor status.

This shit isn’t over with by a long shot. No matter which way the political spheres fall. People are mad. People are fed up. And people will react like they always have in the past.

There is good reason we without claw or fang are at the top of the food chain, and it isn’t just because of our brains.

It IS because we are the most ruthless blood thirsty sumsobitches when we get good-n-mad. (Recall what I’ve said about “I’m the weapon”,,,, )

And I am at the stage in my thinking of “let it blow”. I’m callous enough nowadays to say let the chips fall where they may and maybe Darwins theory will help us to evolve further in the next decades. And I really don’t give a damn about peoples feelings much anymore.
